Definition – is a specialist doctor which looks after you
during an operation and keeps you asleep until the operation is

may also help with pain relief at other times.

Definition – is a specialist doctor who looks after you
when if you require intensive care.

in their physical or mental functioning. The aim of occupational therapy
is to help the client to perform daily tasks in their living and working
environments, and to assist them to develop the skills to live independent,
satisfying, and productive lives.
Physiotherapist
Is an educated and trained person who assess physical function and helps
to restore and maintain as normal a function as possible

therapist
Definition – is a trained therapist that plays with children
that have sustained burns. The play therapist is trying to help
children to express or act out their experiences, feelings, and
problems by playing
with dolls, toys, and other play material.
Dietician
Definition – is a specialist in the study of nutrition which
deals with food and feeding in children and adults.
Pharmacist
Definition – A person who has specialist knowledge of drugs
used in treating burn patients.
Outreach
Burn Nurse
Definition – An experienced nurse who travels in the community
to see and treat minor burns which does not require admission. He/She
also follows
some patients into the community after their discharge.
